The shade and color of the composite filling material can be closely matched to the color of existing teeth. The composite fillings can actually chemically bond to your tooth structure, to fill in cavities or repair chipped, broken, or worn down teeth. Tooth colored fillings also require less tooth structure to be removed than traditional amalgam fillings.
